Timing
The Timing secon allows for individual seng of the opening
and closing eects of each layer in a parcular preset. The overall
preset duraon ming is dened next to the Take buon, it denes
the total duraon of the transion.
You can adjust the beginning, the end and the duraon of each layer transion within the overall preset
duraon. Simply click on the selected layer bar and adjust the start and the end of the transion or using
plus and minus buons, then move the bar, by clicking on it, to place your transion into the total transion
duraon.
The opening ming aects only the opening transions used when a layer is entering the screen or transioning
to a new source. The closing transion ming aects only closing transions used when a layer is leaving the
screen.
Speed
When the layer is ying over the screen, you can dene a nonlinear
speed depending on its posion during the transion. The speed of the
transion is also impacted by this parameter. You can set the starng
and ending speed. To use this seng, the smooth move has to be
enabled.
7.4.4 Layer selecon and nave background
In the EDIT and LIVE menu you can select any of your layers quickly by clicking on the
layer shortcut (N, A, B, C, D, E, F).
If you select the nave background layer, a specic menu will open.
In this window you can choose the “set” you want to use into your actual preset. You
can adjust dierent parameters for this preset:
• The background color: If you chose color into your set, the color sengs will be the
aected color. If you chose input or frame, the color will be sll here, but under your
input/frame. The only way to see it is to have a smaller image/frame than the output
resoluon.
• The transparency of the nave background layer
• The transion type (cut or fade to color) and the ming of this transion.
1/ You cannot dene your nave background SET into this secon, you can only load it. If you want to modify
your set, you have to go to the SETUP> PRECONFIGURATION> NATIVE BACKGROUND. Note that before
an input can be congured as a nave background set, the opon «nave» on SETUP > PRECONFIGURATION
> INPUTS has to be selected.
2/ The choice of nave background set is recorded to a preset (Preview or Program), in that way you can do
crossfade transion between 2 sets of nave background, simply load set 1 into the Program and then
load set 2 into your Preview.
