Borders
Borders can be chosen between 4 paerns: EDGE, SMOOTH, SMOOTH
EDGE or SHADOW. For each paern you will have specic values to adjust
like colors, alpha transparency, width/height or posion V and posion H.
7.4.2 Layer properes
Transparency
Use the Transparency to give at the layer a semi-transparent eect. A
seng of 0 is fully Opaque, meaning no transparency is applied. This
seng can be used to use a layer as a watermark on another. To remove
part of the source for a lower third see the input Keying secon.
Cropping
The Cropping feature allows you to cut into the image to remove the part
you don’t want. Be sure to adjust the crop size horizontally or vercally
before adjusng the posion to display only the desired content. The
posion parameter has no eect without a change in crop size. This crop
seng is a layer crop, which aects any input assigned to this layer. (For
addional crop opons, see the)
The Aspect Override seng allows you to override the Aspect Out seng
assigned to each input with one congured for this layer only. Any input assigned to this layer will ulize
the Layers Aspect override seng instead of the one assigned to the input. Opons include 1:1, Centered,
Fullscreen, and Cropped. See the Input -> Aspect -> Aspect out for more informaon.

The Posion and size adjustments give pixel accurate control over the
posion and size of each layer. Adjust the size horizontally (X) or vercally
(Y), then adjust the width and the height of your layer. You can use the
cursor or directly enter a value. To keep the aspect rao by using the cursor, please select the KEEP ASPECT
RATIO buon. You will nd it on the right of the width and height cursors.

On the Transions secon, you can select an opening and closing eect
to be used on each layer, including Cut, Fade, Slides, Wipes, Circle wipes,
and Stretch eects. The lter allows you to limit which transion style
opons will be displayed.
Each layer can be dened by an opening and a closing transion. The
opening eect will be used when the layer switches from one source
to another or when the layer is not present on the screen and appears.
The closing eect is used when the layer is leaving the screen.
To set up the duraon of the transion, please see below the ming and duraon sengs.
 The Livecore unit will automacally perform layer movement transions (Flying Zoom) if a source or
layer remains on the screen between program and preview. If you want to force the layer to use the
closing transion and the new opening transion, see FORCE TRANSITION into the next secon.
