5.5 Edit secon
• ZOOM FACTOR buon:
The ZOOM FACTOR buon allows you to give the layer a zoom factor in order to zoom into the image. The
zoom factor can be adjusted manually or with shortcut thanks to the contextual buon.
This feature should be used in conjuncon with the Zoom Posion feature.
• ZOOM POS buon:
The ZOOM POSITION buon should be used only aer using the ZOOM FACTOR buon. (The zoom posion
will have no eect unl the zoom factor is dierent from x1) It will help you to choose where to zoom into the
zoomed image. Simply use the joysck or the contextual buon.
• BG CUT buon:
The background cut feature is under the ZOOM FACTOR contextual buon, it helps you to automacally
calculate the right zoom posion/factor in order to match all layers to do one image.
Remember that the background cut feature give to your layers a specic zoomposion/factor, you need to
press it again each me you change their sizes or posions.
If you want to disable any zoom, please press ZOOM FACTOR then ZOOM x1.
• BORDER buon:
The BORDER buon gives to all selected layers the chosen border. Press the BORDER buon then choose
between all border types (edge/shadow etc…)
Giving the selected border, the ne tuning buon will allow you to change the width and height of the border.
• BORDER COLOR:
The BORDER COLOR feature is only available:
- aer you have chosen a border type. You can give to the border the color displayed into the contextual
menu, or manually adjust it with the joysck or the ne tuning buons.
- aer you have selected one or more nave layers. You can give to the nave layer background the color
displayed into the contextual menu, or manually adjust it with the joysck or the ne tuning buons.
• IN / OUT buon:
The IN and OUT buons helps you to congure the opening and the closing eect of your layers.
The opening eect is used when a layer is transioning between emptyand a source, and also between
two sources.
The closing eect is used when a layer is transioning between a source and “empty.
As an example: First select some layers, then press the IN buon. Various opening eects will be displayed on
the contextual buons (slide, wipe etc..).
Next, select the desired eect and then the desired direcon (le/right/top etc..). The same sengs can be
done with the OUT buon to congure the closing eect of your layers.
You can also use the ne tuning buons to modify the start and the end of the opening/closing.
For example, select the desired eect and then set up the start of the opening at 40% and end at 80%. During
the take, this layer will start its eect at 40% of the global take duraon and nish at 80% of the global take
duraon. This relave ming will occur even if the TAKE is being controlled by the T-bar.
The same ming operaons can be congured on the closing eect.
