7-1 [fade timing] + ENTER.

Adjust the fade timing when switching with  + ENTER.

7-2 [shadow title] + ENTER.

This function allows displaying a shadow bar onto the output. Select [ON] with  + ENTER to display the

shadow bar, and adjust the shadow bar with the following function.

• [shadow V size] = Allows to adjust the vertical size of the shadow bar.

• [shadow V position ] = Allows to adjust the vertical position of the shadow bar.

8[CONTROL] + ENTER.

8-1 [versions] + ENTER.

Version _._= update version. I = Identification number. K, S, F, O, V = status of the internal firmware versions.

8-2 [key locking] + ENTER.

Select an item with  and change the mode with ENTER.

• [menus] = Locks/unlocks the LCD CONTROL switches.

• [input] = Locks/unlocks the INPUT SELECTION and FREEZE switches.

• [all] = Locks/unlocks all the front panel switches.

NOTE:

To unlock presses simultaneously on ENTER and EXIT.

• [autolock] = Allows to select an input only if a signal is connected.

8-3 [transition] + ENTER.

Select an item with  + ENTER

8-3-1 [fade color] + ENTER.

This function allows selecting the color of the fade during the transition. Select a color (red, green and bleu)

with  + ENTER and adjust the level with  + ENTER. During the adjustment the color is

displayed onto the output. To obtain the black color, set the 3 levels to the minimum. To obtain the white

color, set the 3 levels to maximum. To obtain the grey color, set the 3 levels in the middle.

8-3-2 [fade frame] + ENTER (available on the OCTO-LOGO

™

and the OCTO-FX

™

only).

This function allows switching by a fading image (instead of a color). Adjust the duration of the transition

with  + ENTER.

8-3-3 [clean cut] + ENTER.

This function allows a clean switching thanks to a fast freeze of the displayed source. Select a function with

 + ENTER.

• [from computer] = The CLEAN CUT operates only when switching from a computer source. The others

switching operates with a fade color.

• [from video] = The CLEAN CUT operates only when switching from a computer source. The others

switching operates with a fade color.

• [from all] = The CLEAN CUT operates when switching from all sources.

NOTE:

The FRAME is not available when the CLEAN CUT is activated.

8-4 [freeze button] + ENTER (available on the OCTO-LOGO

™

only).

Allows assigning a new function to the front panel FREEZE button. Select an item and validate with ENTER.

• [freeze] = The FREEZE button allows to freeze the displayed image.

• [logo] = The FREEZE button allows to switch ON or OFF the logos of the displayed image.

8-4 [effect key] + ENTER (available on the OCTO-FADE

™

and the OCTO-FX

™

only).

This function allows assigning effects to the input key. Select an item with  + ENTER.

• [cut fade title] = Assign the 3 effects to the EFFECT key.

• [cut fade] = Assign CUT & FADE only to the EFFECT key.

• [cut title] = Assign CUT & TITLE only to the EFFECT key.

• [title fade] = Assign TITLE & FADE only to the EFFECT key.

8-5 [2:2 pull down] + ENTER.

Select an item and validate with ENTER.

• [auto] = Automatic recognition and correction of the 2:2 pull down.

• [off] = Disable the 2:2 pull down correction.
